Project Overview
Lavrion is a boundary-pushing family of products that merges lighting solutions with decorative objects—from tracklights, linear lights, and speakers, to candle holders and flower holders—all designed using an algorithm-driven method in collaboration with Mrs. Pardees Taherzadeh. Each piece exhibits a minimalist aesthetic that underscores clean lines and smart functionality, resulting in an evocative blend of form and function. The unique shapes and surfaces generated through computational processes lend every item a distinctive character, making Lavrion a game changer in modern product design.

Challenge
Developing Lavrion’s cohesive yet diverse collection introduced several key hurdles. Harmonizing technically complex electronics—such as integrated lighting modules and speaker systems—within a slim, minimalist profile required careful material selection and assembly processes. The algorithm-driven design approach also demanded extensive prototyping to ensure each piece remained both structurally sound and visually striking. Balancing an avant-garde aesthetic with ease of manufacturing and reliable performance ultimately shaped Lavrion into the innovative and forward-thinking product family it is today.
