Two International Design Awards, One Unforgettable Journey: My Experience at IDA 2025 in Bangkok
Some milestones in a designer’s career become more than achievements—they become memories that redefine the journey. Attending the International Design Awards (IDA) Gala in Bangkok was one of those moments for me.
This year, I had the honor of receiving two International Design Awards for projects that represent years of dedication, innovation, and collaboration.

Winning one award at IDA would have been a remarkable achievement. Receiving two awards in the same year was both humbling and inspiring.
A Global Celebration of Design
The International Design Awards is recognized as one of the world’s most respected design competitions, celebrating excellence across architecture, product design, interior design, graphic design, and fashion. The 19th Annual IDA Gala was held in Bangkok at the iconic ICONSIAM, bringing together hundreds of designers, architects, innovators, and creative leaders from around the world.
Being surrounded by such an incredible community of creatives was a reminder that design is a universal language—one that transcends borders and cultures.
Sharing My Story on the International Stage
One of the highlights of the event was having the opportunity to speak during the IDA Design Talks held at W Bangkok. The symposium brought together award winners, jury members, and industry professionals to share insights, experiences, and perspectives on the future of design.
Standing on that stage, representing not only my work but also the teams and companies behind these projects, was an unforgettable experience. It was a chance to discuss the design thinking, challenges, and innovations that shaped both the EDC and Rasalight projects.
Moments like these remind us that awards are not just about recognition—they are about sharing knowledge, inspiring others, and contributing to the global design conversation.
